Dr Jun WU is now Vice President of Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (Baosteel) and President of Baosteel Central Research Institute (R&D Center), PhD, senior engineer.
Dr Wu graduated from Northeastern University with a master's degree in Mineral Processing Engineering in March 1994 and from East China University of Science and Technology with a doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering in April 1998.
Dr. Wu has rich experience in strategy, corporate management and R&D management. He joined Baosteel in December 1997, and has served as Deputy Director of Automotive Steel Research Institute of Baosteel Research Institute, Director of Strategic Management Department of Baosteel, Director of Planning & Technology Department of Baosteel, and Director of Baosteel Central Research Institute (R&D Center). In March 2019, he became Assistant Preisdent of Baosteel. Since February 2022, he has been a member of the Party Standing Committee of Baosteel. Since April 2022, he became the Vice President of Baosteel.
