Mechanism investigation and practical research combined with theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, and experiments will be conducted for the applicability of RBCS (roll bonded clad steel) to manufacture mining facilities. This project will study the manufacturing mechanism of large-scale mining equipment with Baosteel’s RBCSs and comprehensively evaluate their service performance in industrial applications. Another aim will provide EVI (Early Vendor Involvement) for applications of RBCS products in Australia’s mining industry. The ultimate outcome is to develop the first order of Baosteel’s RBCSs in Australia, thus enhancing the international footprint of and providing opportunities for market extension worldwide for Baosteel’s novel products.
