Baosteel’s roll-bonding clad steel plates have been successfully applied in industrial sectors in China and Europe, but are yet to infiltrate the Australian market, which has a great potential to adopt such products to replace the existing materials used in the minerals industry to improve service performance. This project aims to enhance the applications of Baosteel’s roll-bonding clad steel plates in mining equipment in Australia through comprehensive fundamental and practical research. Successful outcomes will provide technical support for applications of Baosteel’s roll-bonding clad steel plates in Australia’s minerals industry, increase export, enhance Baosteel’s international footprint and benefit Australia's minerals industry.
